Through its Pimlico Race Course (the home of The Preakness^®, the middle jewel of racing's Triple Crown^®) and Laurel Park, The Maryland Jockey Club conducts year-round thoroughbred racing. The services performed for these and other pari-mutuel facilities (both racetracks and off-track betting facilities) have included obtaining initial state licensing in several jurisdictions; overseeing compliance with state and federal laws; and preparing racing legislation and working for its passage. Attorneys in the firm are experienced in virtually all aspects of pari-mutuel gaming.
