Aviation law is constantly developing and changing. In an attempt to highlight some of the recent developments in this area of the law, GKG's Litigation Group has prepared the following outline of recent aviation and airport case law decisions and legislative and administrative actions. This outline is designed to cover a broad spectrum of issues and to be informative to participants in the aviation and airport industries. Issues that are common to all litigation -- such as jurisdictional and procedural issues -- are included in the outline as well as issues which are specific to the aviation industry -- such as air carrier liability and defenses and FAA Enforcement issues. We have set forth those subject areas relevant to these industries and we have sought to identify current trends, issues and conflicts in the law that will impact upon decision makers.
