Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution |

GKG Law's litigation group represents clients in a variety of complex civil, administrative, and criminal proceedings before courts and administrative agencies throughout the country. Our attorneys regularly appear before federal courts at the trial and appellate level, in state courts throughout the United States, in arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings, and in litigation before foreign tribunals. Our litigation lawyers also appear routinely before Federal and state regulatory agencies, including the Department of Transportation, the Surface Transportation Board, the National Transportation Safety Board, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Maritime Commission, the Department of Justice, and the Federal Trade Commission. Our wide-ranging civil litigation practice includes cases of virtually every variety, including disputes involving complex contract issues, employee non-competition enforcement, bankruptcy, business torts, and regulated matters including antitrust, fraud, civil RICO, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, trademark, equal employment opportunity, trade secrets, labor, and unfair competition. Because of the firm's international client base, our litigation attorneys often are involved in matters raising complex issues of the application of foreign laws, and the relationships between the laws of the United States and foreign countries. We have experience in administrative law, particularly as applied in agencies regulating trade, competition, taxation, transportation, and energy, and in judicial review of those agencies' decisions. GKG Law's attorneys also have actively conducted and participated in numerous alternative dispute residential proceedings, both representing parties and in the role of arbitrators, including mediation and arbitration in both the United States and abroad. In addition to civil litigation, the firm represents clients in criminal investigations and litigation, primarily in the area of white collar criminal defense. The firm represents criminal defendants in major criminal price-fixing trials and in criminal investigations instituted by the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice. GKG Law represents all of our clients’ litigation needs, from straightforward private commercial disputes to the most complex federal class-action cases. Our litigators work individually, as teams within the litigation practice area, or with other attorneys in the firm to ensure that our clients receive the most effective representation available. We focus on developing strategies that advance our clients' interests while minimizing the cost and burden associated with litigation. For more information contact: |
