A person only has to read the current news to see that there are many possible pitfalls when using social media sites. Defamation, infringement of intellectual property, antitrust violations, and disclosure of trade secrets all occur on social media sites. It is important that association employees understand these risks and that an association has a written social media policy that limits these risks.  This webinar will set forth several ways an association can limit its liability exposure on social media sites.
