Transportation Litigation

GKG Law has an experienced litigation team that handles issues concerning transportation, international trade, and logistics practices across the country.  Our transportation litigation practice attorneys have decades of experience representing a wide range of clients on conflict and dispute issues and have the skills to meet all of the requirements needed to resolve the most complex of transportations cases.

We frequently represent non-vessel operating common carriers (NVOCCs) and common carriers in commercial disputes involving ocean transportation before the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and in federal courts.  We also often represent shippers and shippers’ associations before the Surface Transportation Board (STB) and in federal lawsuits involving rail and trucking disputes.  GKG Law has had great success in representing private aircraft owners in federal litigation arising out of contract disputes regarding the sale, operation and maintenance of private aircraft.  GKG Law also has experience in defending parties injured in suits involving shipowners’ attempts to limit liability for maritime accidents pursuant to the Shipowners’ Limitation of Liability Act.
