ADA Compliance

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) impacts many parts of a non-profit organization.  Each association must ensure that its meetings and conventions are accessible to individuals with disabilities.  Credentialing organizations must review and grant testing accommodations that best ensure that the examination results accurately reflect an individual's aptitude or achievement level rather than the individual's disability.  Larger organizations may have to comply with the ADA when it comes to granting accommodations to employees with disabilities.  GKG Law’s Association Practice Group counsels its non-profit clients on all types of ADA compliance matters.  We work to find reasonable, cost-effective solutions that meet the requirements of the ADA.
